James A. Hernandez and colleagues awarded outstanding graduate student poster at FERA

PURPOSE fellow James Hernandez, along with co-authors Makana Craig and PURPOSE mentor Alysia Roehrig, recently achieved the honor of best overall poster from the graduate poster session at the 2018 annual meeting of the Florida Educational Research Association (FERA) for their project titled “Culturally Responsive Classroom Management Strategies in CDF Freedom Schools.” The peer review panel evaluated all posters submitted to the conference from across the state of Florida on content and presentation.
